Italian Herb Bread

2 ¾ cups heat water
½ cup honey
1/three cup oil
1/eight cup on the spot yeast
5 ½ cups wheat berries floor
1 ½ tblsp dough enhancer
1 tblsp salt
2 tblsp Italian seasoning
1 tblsp Garlic powder

Mix collectively first four elements and ½ of flour in a bowl let sit for 10 to 15 minutes till doubled.
Add dough enhancer, salt and sufficient flour to make barely sticky dough. Knead for at the very least eight minutes or till a walnut sized piece of dough may be flattened and streatched like pizza dough (essential with wheat flour)
On an oiled floor divide dough in half and clean into loafs and place in nicely greased bread pans. Cover with clear wrap and let rise till 1″ above the loaf pan or doubled.
Bake in chilly oven to start out at 350 for 20 minutes or till you’ll be able to scent the bread. Let cool for 30 minutes earlier than slicing. To obtain a mushy prime crust brush flippantly with butter when sizzling.

I was so excited when I found this video and seen u using a oster kitchen center mixer to knead ur dough… I recently was very fortunate and won one in a bid on ebay for 12.00 dollars… I'm very excited to get it and use it… I'm on a very tight budget and cannot afford something like a kitchen aid… i was so excited when i found this cause its everything i needed in one… At a price i couldn't believe… lol… Do u think u can do more videos using it? I would love to see more recipes with it… Thanks in advance… 🙂

Does this recipe call for 5 1/2 cups of wheat berries that are then ground (it would yield much more flour), or 5 1/2 cups of ground wheat flour? Thanks! My Italian bread doesn't use wheat so I'd love to give your recipe a try.

Fantastic tips, along with a gorgeous loaf, ya can't get any better than that.
The one thing I have never done is freeze my dough for later, and you really made it look so easy, that I think I won't worry about trying it anymore. The tip on the yeast is fantastic. I new that it lasts longer too, because I have used some very old yeast too, but love that the word got out to others too, it would be a shame to waste all that really good yeast. Thank you for another wonderful video. I love them all.

Bread looks great! So happy you shared the date on the yeast. I have had yeast that lasted a long time like that too. Good to know that it was not a fluke!

I have the same mixer but I must confess I bought it at a yard sale for $10 after I saw your video saying how much you still loved yours. I love mine too, it has all the attachments and works great. Thanks for another great video.

Appreciate greatly all the wonderful work you do on you videos…I have learned so much from you. Here is a hint that works for me…keep your plastic wrap in your freezer and it will be much easier to handle.
