The ingenious method of making sfogliatella (Italian pastry) at home: easy, quick and delicious!

INGREDIENTS
1 puff pastry roll
50g of melted butter
200g of ricotta
150g of jam
Powdered sugar to style

PREPARATION
Take a puff pastry roll and get three stripes out of it. Overlap the strips by gluing them with melted butter, then roll up. Put the roll within the wax paper and place it within the freezer for at least an hour. Once it’s compact, minimize the dough into slices of 1cm. Spread every slice barely and begin to flatten it creating depth. Fill it with ricotta and jam and shut your sfogliatella. Bake at 190° for about 10-20 minutes and serve with powdered sugar.
