This combines one of the best of each world’s, a pumpkin pie, and a cheesecake.  What could possibly be higher?  Thanks to Stephanie Gardner for this recipe.

Sensational Double Layer Pumpkin Pie

Sensational Double Layer Pumpkin Pie

  • Four ounces cream cheese, softened*
  • 1 tablespoon milk or half-and-half
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 half cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
  • 1 Keebler Ready-Crust Graham Cracker Pie Crust (6 ounces)
  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 2 packages (4-serving measurement) Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie
  • Filling
  • 1 can (16 ounces) pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • half teaspoon floor ginger
  • 1/Four teaspoon floor cloves
  • *Helpful Hint: Soften cream cheese in microwave on HIGH 15 to 20 seconds
  1. Mix cream cheese, milk and sugar in giant bowl with wire whisk till easy. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spread on backside of crust. Pour 1 cup milk into bowl. Add pudding combine. Beat with wire whisk till properly blended, 1 to 2 minutes. (Mixture can be thick.) Stir in pumpkin and spices with wire whisk; combine properly. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate at the least three hours. Garnish with further whipped topping and nuts if desired.
