    I tried it .. it was yummy in taste .. I kept it in oven at 175 °c but it's second time n it remains little uncooked ..means not texture of cake inside .. y is that so?

    This recipe LIT yo, made it a few times now, make sure to grease the pan nice and use a heaping teaspoon of baking powder and for GOD SAKES LEAVE IT AND LET IT RISE, or else you'll get custard pot pie

    You have good recipes …but your lower teeth drives me nuts, they pull out with a hissing noise, and tou exaggerate alot.

    Wow she's a Vitale ? My mom's maiden name is Vitale and looks kinda like this women with the light green eyes and very fair complected skin. Hmm she maybe a cousin to my mom and I. What a small world !

    I made this cake today but only had lemon yoghurts at 115g. I used 2 lemon yoghurts (230g), 230g veg oil, 460g sugar, 690g flour, 4 eggs, vanilla essence, 3 teaspns of baking powder with the zest of 1 large lemon. The mixture made 2 loaf cakes and was awesome. Not as high in height as Laura's and took just 40 minutes in the oven. So so good. Beware: don't over mix the batter or produces a denser cake.

    Laura first time I watched this video. I have been a subscriber for over three years. I have made several of your recipes. I have to say that I love this video the best. I think it is amazing to do a recipe that was your mother's. I wish I had written all the great recipes my mom did when she was alive but when ever I am craving a specific recipe that my mother had made I search for videos from your channel. Thank you for your great channel Laura.

    I've made this twice so far now and every single time it comes out great! I had to convert 170 grams cuz I don't have that yogurt cup butter other than that it's delicious! 😋😋 Laura, u give me hope of being a good chef in the kitchen and you never cease to amaze me! 💖

    Laura love your recipes but the critical flavour in pound cake is really good quality butter… I'm a very accomplished cook and I know what I'm saying. Try it with really good quality butter and enjoy ☺️

    Hi Laura,this cake is great. So yummy. So glad you found this recipe. Easy and amazingly delicious. I just made it and hubby and me ate half right out of the oven. Didn’t get a chance to glaze it yet. The fresh lemon is so delicious. I never use the extract. I share the same thoughts as you about the disinfectant taste.
