I am so happy to have stumbled across this channel. My nonna and great aunt passed away, they are the ones I would make bread and pizza with, and they never wrote down recipes so mine never tasted quite like theirs. Your dough tastes just like theirs! I made a big batch and was thinking of freezing some…

Any tips on how to store in freezer?

We are American. German and Welsh, Irish and Scot. My Grandmother she make-a-the bread, taught me to do. My Father wouldn't eat store bought bread it was too soft stick to the roof of his mouth. As a teenager every Saturday morning before I could do anything else. I made him the bread. Small family 2 Loaves and 12 rolls. It was a labor of Love for my Father.

How do you tell how good bread is
without tasting it? Not the smell,
not the look, but the sound… of
the crust. Those words cake to mind and grandma Gina cut into the bread and I could hear the crackle

My parents were born in Catanzaro Italy. My mother and I just made bread yesterday and we did it the same way as Gina. I love watching her videos! Thank you for sharing! My father always said that the women of the home always worked hard, their jobs were harder than the men's jobs! He and Gina are right!

Why she can not make a tutorial in his own language, Italian is so beautiful also with dialects… I noticed she has the same accent like mine, when she uses dialects words.

Nona Gina I'd tried this bread last night and I was so happy because the one I made was perfect like yours. Thank you for sharing this recipe, I don't need to buy anymore Italian bread, I just make it my self. thank you…thank your Nona gina. Guys try this recipe you will not regret it. Nona the only changes I made of this recipe was the amount of water. For 1 lb. ( equivallent of 1 3/4 cup plus 2 TBSP. of flour) I only add 3/4 cup of water the result was the same. Thank you again Nona Gina. Before I forget the taste was so yummy even my husband loved it. 100% Good. To try it follow this recipe measurement for small amount.

    1 3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. Bread Flour (High-Gluten)
    1/2 tsp Yeast
    1 1/4 tsp. Salt
    3/4 cup warm Water (105-110 degrees F)
    Olive Oil
