This week I’m making Garlicky Prawns With Mushrooms In An Easy To Make Down And Dirty Alfredo Sauce. This is simple to make and is a real consolation dish. Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Olive oil.
1 Lbs. Fresh or frozen shrimp no matter you’ve readily available will work.
Four or extra cloves of garlic minced nicely.
2-3 Tsp. Dried basil.
1 Tsp. Dried oregano.
Red pepper flakes to your liking.
Eight oz Crimini mushrooms sliced.
1 Cup of half and half or heavy cream.
½ Cup of Gorgonzola cheese.
¾ Cup of Mozzarella cheese.
½ Cup pasta water.
½ Lbs. Linguine, fettuccine or common spaghetti.

Instructions:
1. Heat a big skillet till sizzling – add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and instantly add garlic and shrimp, prepare dinner on one facet for about 1 minute till pink on one facet, on medium-high warmth. Flip the shrimp to the opposite facet, sprinkle the highest of cooked facet of shrimp with dry basil, paprika, and salt, prepare dinner for an additional 1-2 minutes, sometimes stirring, till shrimp is pink on each side.     Flour your mushrooms for a thicker creamier sauce. Every store bought cheese sauce uses a starch thickener, why? Because people prefer the consistency. Spot on with the bechamel. This is a bechamel where someone forgot the roux.
