How to Make Italian Orzo Pasta Salad

Classic Italian orzo pasta salad, full with a selfmade dressing and mini pepperonis. This conventional American pasta salad is nice with an orzo pasta twist.

Italian Orzo Pasta Salad

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ready In: 20 minutes
Yield: Serves 6 to 8

1 pound orzo pasta
four ounces sliced black olives
four ounces mini pepperonis
1 inexperienced bell pepper, seeded and diced
¼ cup chopped pepperocinis
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
Eight ounces recent mozzarella cheese, cubed
⅔ cup olive oil
¼ cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon dried parsley
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon dried basil
Instructions

Cook orzo in salted water in accordance to bundle instructions. Drain and rinse with chilly water.
Combine cooked orzo with olives, pepperonis, bell pepper, pepperocinis, tomatoes, and mozzarella.
Dress the pasta salad by pouring in olive oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar, parsley, pepper, and basil.
Stir to mix. Refrigerate till chilled. Serve chilly.

    Most excellent! That is very close to the way I make it. In fact, I've been thinking of doing a video except mine doesn't pretend to be Italian so I know people will get bent out of shape. I really like your idea of using pepperoncinis. I usually add toasted slivered almonds. Brilliant way of slicing tomatoes.
