Cool and high with Nutmeg Sauce. Nutmeg Sauce In a small pan combines sugar, cornstarch, and nutmeg. Stir in milk and butter. Cook over medium warmth till combination begins to thicken barely. Add vanilla extract, and stir continuously till thick. Do not boil. Remove from warmth and pour over cooled bread pudding.
