FULL RECIPE HERE: http://tatyanaseverydayfood.com/recipe-items/braised-lamb-shanks/
These tender and flavorful lamb shanks are braised in a tomato sauce made with wine, garlic and recent Italian herbs. To make it a meal, toss the tomato sauce in pillowy gnocchi or another kind of pasta! Lamb can generally be an intimidating meat to organize however my braised lamb shanks are so easy to make, you will really feel like a grasp chef at residence!

hi I love the way that you cook and what you make now I watched the one about lamb shanks and gnocchi , now I see that you use Fara Sanmartino gnocchi that is by far the best pasta makers in Italy being from Abruzzo Ortona a' mare I might be a little biased but it is the best. by the way awesome shank recipe, you keep a making I keep a watching. I've made this maybe ~10 times since I first tried this recipe 2 months ago. Multiple times in a couple of the weeks because it is just so so yummy. It has become my favourite meal! So cheap, so easy, and you can present this for a fancy dinner that makes your guests go, "WOAH!" I've spent entire days making pasta sauces which pale in comparison to the sauce you get at the end of this. It is amazing. This one is going in my cookbook and I will be making it the rest of my life. Lets see… twice a month from ages 21 to lets say 75… I will probably make this dish at least 1,296 times in my life.

    Thanks Tatyana!

Hi Tatyana, I cooked this meal today, turned out great, But… per your recipie the is no salt in the souce, can I add salt and when its good time to add in the sauce? My husband does not like unsalty food he like it when its salty I did put a lot of salt on the shanks before frying, but it was not enough so wondering how to cook it better next time, thanks
