Basundi is a wealthy and scrumptious Indo Italian dessert of thickened milk with almonds, pistachios & the flavour of saffron in it. Basundi is eaten on it personal, both heat or chilled .But in the present day now we have given it a twist by making Pannacotta out of it. Panacotta means cooked cream, which is an italian dessert of sweetened cream thickened with gelatine and moulded.


Whole milk- 2 cups
Condensed milk- 1/2 cup
Milk powder- Three tbsp
Brown sugar-Three tbsp
cardamom powder- 1/four tsp
few strands of saffron
Almonds pistachios-1/four cup
Water- four tbsp
Gelatin- 1 tbsp
(you may also use Veg gelatin*)
